What is beautiful?

What defines the word beautiful; and no, I don’t mean the dictionary meaning, I mean why/how does being skinny, having a symmetric face and having nice hair make someone beautiful? Why aren’t larger girls seen to be beautiful and what happens if someone has ‘irregular’ facial features? What defines irregular? If we were all ‘regular’, how would individuals stand out and be unique? Sure, there are too many questions to ask about this subject, but they do have to be answered someday.

Why isn’t beauty classified as:

A larger person with short hair, acne and glasses?

…but is classified as

A slim person with a ‘nice’ complexion and symmetric face with brightly coloured eyes

Society has messed up the way we see things in the world. It has influenced people to stick a stereotype on a person because of what they look like.

RANT. OVER.
